TUITION
The Preparatory Department works for the foreign citizens coming to DSTU to study the Russian language and common natural sciences. The whole course of study at the Preparatory Department takes 1 year. The Russian language Courses are also available at DSTU.
LIST OF MAIN PROGRAMS OFFERED.
To be considered for admission to Preparatory Department of DSTU, an applicant must submit the following:
• completed standard application form;
• national passport (copy);
• certified copy of Secondary School Certificate, including examination results;
• medical certificate of the state of health (including HIV-certificate);
• document about financial guaranty (2500$ - min. yearly costs: education+accommodation+ foodstuff);
• 6 photos 3 by 4 cm .
• Persons applying for training at other forms of education should submit graduation certificate from the Preparatory Department of one of the Higher Educational Universities or Institutions of Russian Federation.
Applicants for postgraduate studies shall also submit:
• copy of the Diploma or of the MA or MSc degree certificate;
• list of publications ( if any );
• reference paper for the intended thesis (2 copies).
All the documents are to be submitted in one of the two languages: Russian or English.

Post-graduate education
Don State Technical University trains scientific specialists at post-graduate and Doctorate courses.
